General Information

Advisory services are offered by Prism Wealth Management (the “Adviser”), an Investment Advisor in the State of Wisconsin. Being registered as an investment adviser does not imply a certain level of skill or training. This information is intended solely for use by the recipient hereof and is not to be reproduced or distributed to other parties without express permission of the Adviser. It does not constitute an offer of investment advisory services to the general public or in any jurisdiction where the same would be unlawful. Furthermore, it is neither an offer to sell nor a solicitation of an offer to buy interests or shares in any products managed by the Adviser. The opinions contained herein reflect our judgment as of the date of this information. Any information or analyses contained herein from sources outside of the Adviser are believed to be from reliable sources. However, the Adviser provides no warranty regarding the accuracy or completeness of this Information.

Investment Risk

All securities investments involve risk, including the risk that an investor may lose some or all of his/her investment. As with any investment vehicle, past performance is no guarantee of future results. Any references to specific securities or sectors should not be construed as recommendations by the Adviser. These examples are merely intended to illustrate the concepts being discussed. Portfolio holdings will change due to ongoing management of the funds over which the Adviser has investment authority.

Past Performance

Past performance is not indicative of future results. Historical returns, expected returns, and probability projections are provided for illustrative purposes and are not a guarantee of future performance.

Forward-Looking Statements

Content on this website may contain forward-looking statements regarding markets, the economy, or specific investments. These statements reflect current views and assumptions, are subject to significant uncertainties and contingencies, and may differ materially from actual events. Prism Wealth undertakes no obligation to update any forward-looking statement.

Market Recap & Commentary

Articles published under "Market Recap" represent the views of Prism Wealth as of the date of publication and are subject to change without notice. Information is drawn from sources believed to be reliable but its accuracy and completeness are not guaranteed. Specific securities or sectors mentioned for illustrative purposes should not be interpreted as recommendations to buy or sell.

Custody & Counterparty Risk

While the Adviser maintains all client assets with qualified custodians, no option is risk-free. It actively manages exposure to counterparty risk by monitoring and periodically evaluating the creditworthiness of its custodians. Counterparty creditors cannot access client funds and assets that the Adviser maintains in segregated accounts in the name of the client, pursuant to written custody agreements.

Market Indices & Benchmarks

References to market or composite indices, benchmarks or other measures of relative market performance over a specified period of time (such as ETFs) are provided for your information only. Indices are not selected to represent an appropriate benchmark with which to compare an investor’s performance and do not imply that portfolios managed by the Advisor will achieve returns, volatility or other results similar to an index. Their use is merely intended to allow for comparison of the investor’s performance to that of certain well-known and widely recognized indices. The S&P 500 Index is a broadly-based index of the common stock prices of 500 large cap U.S. companies that include the reinvestment of dividends. The 10-year Treasury Bond Index is an index that measures the performance of U.S. Treasury securities with a remaining maturity of at least seven years and less than 10 years. The use of the S&P 500 and 10-year Treasury Bond Index is merely intended to reflect traditional stock and bond strategies, so they should not be considered performance benchmarks. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is an index of 30 stocks traded in the U.S. and designed to gauge the performance of the industrial sector of the American stock market. The FTSE 100 is the most well-known index, which is comprised of blue-chip stocks listed on the London Stock Exchange. The NASDAQ Composite Index measures all NASDAQ domestic- and international based common type stocks listed on the NASDAQ Stock Market. The Thomson Reuters/Jefferies CRB Index is an index of 19 commodities designed to provide an accurate representation of broad commodity price trends. ETFs, or exchange-traded funds, are funds that track indices so, when you buy shares of an ETF you are buying shares of a portfolio that tracks the yield and return of its corresponding index. A major difference between ETFs and other types of index funds is that ETFs do not try to outperform their index, but simply replicate its performance. For example, SPY is one of three ETFs offering exposure to the S&P 500; DIA is the only ETF linked to the Dow Jones Industrial Average; and IWM is linked to a broad-based index of small cap U.S. equities. EFA offers exposure to developed markets outside the U.S., including Europe, Japan, and Australia. EEM offers easy access to hundreds of emerging markets stocks. AGG focuses on high quality U.S. debt, including Treasuries and investment grade corporate bonds. IAU is one of four ETFs that invest in physical gold and is one of the largest holders of gold bullion in the world.
